Where We Live, Rose!verse, and Somewhere to Call Home are in progress, TUNE!verse is being revamped...and I have no desire whatsoever to write. I haven't had any desire to write for a bit now, only...
...Only I've been world-building like ...god or something. I'm working on the political dynamics of Ba'al!verse. The gender identification and subsequent sexual identity issues in Dragon!verse, as well as those in Team Lorne Otter!verse (and I'll have to do it in Ba'al!verse, too, despite the fact that Ba'al is in no shape to be in a relationship with anyone and is more than a little...in love with himself. sort of. So not going there.) About thirty different cultures in Somewhere to Call Home. The effects of pseudo-membership in a Wraith Hive mind on humans who don't have a genetic predisposition to it in TUNE!verse, and the socio-political effects of developing a bi-species Hive mind over the course of ten thousand years. The effects of a cultural belief in symbol over reality in Rose!verse. Languages and marriage customs and weather patterns and suns going nova and sleeper virus attacks and techtonic plate movement...

Does anyone else ever have this problem, when building the world becomes more addictive than doing anything with the result? I know that, as an author, you always want to give the reader the impression that there's a lot more known about the world that just doesn't make it into the text, but this is crazy. I have, well, not reams, but pages of notes that haven't produced fic, and only want to spawn more notes.
